confetti blossom kimono

120.00

In early spring, 'Hanami' (literally; blossom viewing) is a Japanese festival to celebrate the arrival of the cherry blossom. The Sakura (cherry blossom) is a sign of new beginnings and people gather to enjoy the transient beauty of the flowers which will soon fall and confetti the ground.

This beautiful rinzu kimono captures the feel of Hanami with a pattern of falling sakura. The graphic red and white print is accented with tiny pink maple leaves, caught up in lines of trailing blossom. This vintage kimono is light and silky to touch so can be worn as a light jacket in spring. Click here for our blog post on how to wear the Cofetti Blossom Kimono.

Despite its age this kimono has been lovingly preserved and remains in very good condition
